The money truck of a gold mine is robbed. The truck driver has gone missing from the scene. The fingerprints discovered on the wheel belong to ex-con nicknamed Courier. This discovery is followed by a cruel murder of Courier. The investigation search the murder site and discover some locally prodiced emeralds. It turns out that Oleg a.k.a. the Courier left the city six months ago immediately after the murder of actress Kholodova.
