Francesco Paolo Tosti

ТОСТИ (Tosti) франческо Паоло (1846—1916)—итальянский певец , педагог, композитор. Выступал в концертах с исполнением собственных произведений в Риме и других европейских городах (главным образом в Лондоне). Был придворным учителем пения в Риме, с 1880 — при королевском дворе в Лондоне, с 1894 там же профессор Королевской академии музыки. Автор популярных романсов, неаполитанских песен, в том числе «Марэкьяре». Произведения Тости включали в свой репертуар Б. Джильи, Э. Карузо и другие певцы.
