Jean Casadesus
Casadesus Jean (17.07.1927 - 20.01.1972) - пианист.
Born in Paris son of Robert Casadesus and Gaby l"Hôte. He studied the piano with his parents and at the conservatoire of Paris before leaving for the US where he pursued his studies at Princeton University.He gave his first concert under the direction of Eugène Ormandy in Philadelphia. In 1947, he was the laureate of the Geneva International Music Competition.
In 1953, he married Evie Girard, daughter of the painter André Girard who was an old friend of his.He then began a brilliant career as a concert artist and as a teacher at the American conservatoire of Fontainebleau. His career was, however, abruptly brought to an end by a car accident in Canada.
In 1965, he created, with his parents, the triple concerto by Robert Casadesus, at the Lincoln Center in New-York. Died on 20 January 1972 in Canada.
