Salman Khan

Salman Khan (December 27, 1965) - is an Indian Film actor.

Khan is the eldest son of screen writer Salim Khan and his wife Salma Khan. He has two brothers, Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan. Both of them are actors while Sohail is also a Film Director and Producer. They have two sisters, Arpita (the youngest of the siblings), and Alvira. Khan"s stepmother is actress Helen.
Khan has been romantically linked to actresses Sangeeta Bijlani, Somy Ali and Aishwarya Rai in the past. He is dating fellow actress and model Katrina Kaif.

He has starred in a number of top-grossing movies and remains one of the most successful movie stars in Indian Cinema /The Hindi/Urdu film industry, based in Mumbai (formerly Bombay), also known as Bollywood. [1]
His first leading role in an All Time Blockbuster movie was in 1989"s Maine Pyar Kiya,[2]which won him the Filmfare Best Debut Award 1990 and a nomination for Filmfare Best Actor Award.

Although he had his share of hits and misses, his hits include some of Indian Cinema"s Top-Grossing movies over the years, such as- Sanam Bewafa, Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Karan Arjun, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United, Biwi No.1, Baghban, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, and most recently, No Entry.[3]

For his extended special appearance in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) as the kind-hearted Aman, he earned a Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award.
He frequently collaborated with director David Dhawan and the duo produced several successful comedies like Judwaa (1997), Biwi No.1(1999) , Mujhse Shaadi Karogi(2004), and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya (2005).

In 2006, he will be seen in films like Jaan-E-Mann, Ravi Chopra"s Baabul opposite Rani Mukherji, the multi-starrer Salaam E Ishq: A Tribute To Love opposite Priyanka Chopra, Juhi Chawla and Anil Kapoor.
And the film which will mark his Hollywood debut: Willard Caroll"s Marigold: An Adventure in India opposite Ali Larter.
