Родилась на хуторе Восточном Краснодарского края. Окончила Театральное училище им. Б. Щукина (1970). С 1976 — актриса Театра-студии киноактера. Лауреат Государственной премии СССР (1983 — за роль роль Марии Поповой в фильме "Праздники детства").
Народная артистка РСФСР (1989).
