Андрей Файт
Родился в Нижнем Новгороде. Учился в институте инженеров воздушного флота. В 1925 году окончил Государственный техникум кинематографии. Это был первый выпуск профессиональных актёров советского кино. Работал в Театре - студии киноактера.
В кино Андрей Файт начал сниматься с 1924 года (первая роль— Азангулов — в фильме Владимира Гардина "Особняк Голубиных"). Одна из самых известных работ актера — роль Магрибинца в фильме-сказке "Волшебная лампа Аладдина".Файт практически никогда не играл так называемых положительных героев. Андрей Файт сыграл около 60 ролей в кино.
Заслуженный артист РСФСР (1976).
