Родилась в Москве. Окончила Школу-студию МХАТ (1973).С 1973-93 — актриса МХАТ. В кино с 1965 года (первая роль — Таня Нечаева в фильме Александра Митты "Звонят, откройте дверь!"). Написала книгу "В роли себя самой" (1999). Играет в антрепризе.
Заслуженная артистка РСФСР (1985).
