Евгений Шапиро
Учился в Ленинградском кинофото техникуме (1925-1930). В кино с 1931 года ("Человек из тюрьмы"). Работал на киностудии Госкинпром Грузии и "Белгоскино" (Ленинград), с 1940 — оператор-постановщик "Ленфильма". В 1942-1945 — оператор фронтовых групп.
Лауреат Государственной премии СССР (1951).
Заслуженный деятель искусств РСФСР (1965).
