Родилась в Москве, в семье режиссера театра и кино Марка Захарова. Окончила Театральное училище им. Б. Щукина (1983, мастерская Ю. Катина-Ярцева). Работает в Московском театре Ленком. Известность к актрисе пришла после роли Александры Рукояткиной в телевизионном фильме "Криминальный талант" и "Формула любви".
