Foreman Uncle Vova and Georgian student Gedevan accidentally found themselves on a strange desert planet, Plyuk, in the faraway galaxy “Kin-Dza-Dza”. The planet’s inhabitants looked like humans and understood Russian, because they could read people’s minds, although their own language was pretty limited. Virtually everything, with a rare exception, was expressed by one word – “koo”. The planet’s entire population was divided into two castes: the superior one – “chatlians”, and the lower one – “patsaks”. Uncle Vova and Gedevan, who learned they were patsaks, had been trying throughout the film to get back to Earth, in which they finally succeeded, after many an adventure…
