A group of Russian teenagers spend their summer at a summer camp. Mitya falls in love and gets so occupied with his own problems that he forgets the others.

The story of a young man experiencing an existential journey. It is not about the other characters per se, but rather, what these characters bring to Mitya's experience. Mitya's experience is in contrast to what is going on around him in the physical sense.
