The Byelorussian Station
The heroes of the film departed at the Byelorussian station in the summer of 1945. A quarter of the century later they meet at the funeral of their war friend. Everything they have gone through starts reviving with a new power in their souls. Time is powerless over their memory: they have preserved faithfulness to their war friendship, ability to sacrifice themselves and incredible love of life. The film was awarded the Chief Prize at I Festival of modern cinematography in Karlovy Vary, 1971.
