Alexander Belov (Lyubshin) is a Russian spy in the Nazi Germany, working under cover name as Johann Weiss. His perfect German and cool demeanor allows him to make a career in the SS Headquarters in Berlin. Now he is risking his life while getting the Nazi war plans and delivering it to his contact for the sake of Victory.
The story begins in Latvia, where on the eve of World War II they send a
Soviet intelligence agent. Under the guise of a native German, he rubs
into the credibility of the esteemed Schwarzkopf family. First, he earns
additionally as a driver in a car workshop, and then, thanks to his
friendship with Heinrich Schwarzkopf, he is sent to Germany. Here, again
thanks to connections, he manages to get a cushy driver's seat in a
special Abwehr garage. Position behind the post, in small steps Johann
makes his way to the highest ranks of the Reich. A year before the end
of the war, he gets firmly entrenched in the lair of the enemy.
