"Tuvalu" is, at the minimum, an excentric comedy, and, at the maximum, satirical anti-utophia. The picture combines the best traditions of silent cinema of the beginning of century and a bright modern manner of storytelling. The main characters are in love, they understand each other and find understanding without any efforts. The concept of a picture "Tuvalu" is, actually, full absence of dialogues (even those few words that are used, seem to be coming on some non-verbal level). Performances by all the leading characters are breathtakingly good and never for a moment overdone.
